Ramona Graffeo Interim EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ramona is an Experienced Nonprofit Executive with 15+ years in the nonprofit sector. She has served on numerous Boards including the American Cancer Society-Life Inspiration Awards, Kid One Transport, The Greater Birmingham Humane Society, The Association of Training and Development; Birmingham, and Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama. During her extended tenure as CAO of the Humane Society, she was responsible for fund development, marketing and all HR aspects of over 90 employees with a $4mil+ budget. She is extremely passionate in the cause to remove Cancer from our vocabulary.
Ramona is a graduate from the University of Alabama with an advanced degree in Human Resources. She is also very active in her church serving in various functions as well as in her community, including a Eucharistic Minister on the weekends to patients at St. Vincent’s hospital. Ramona loves to golf in her spare time. She is married to Andy Graffeo and they have two grown children.

Betsy fetner program DIRECTOR
Betsy joined the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation in 2022. Previously, Betsy served in professional ministry positions within The Episcopal Church. She is passionate about the health and well-being of women in our community and is honored to serve this organization as Program Director.
Betsy is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a BS in Human Environmental Science. Betsy is married to Matt Fetner, and they have one daughter. She is also active in her church and as a sustaining member of the Junior League of Birmingham.

irene goddard development DIRECTOR
Irene joined the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation in 2019. Irene is a Birmingham native and a graduate of The Altamont School. She attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Arts in both Anthropology and Sociology in 2009. She received a Masters in Applied Medical and Applied Urban Anthropology from The University of Memphis in 2012. Previously she fundraised for Kid One Transport for six years. She enjoys sunshine, the outdoors, and being both a cat and dog person. She is grateful for the services that the foundation provides to the community, as GYN cancer has touched her family.
